Doug has spent his healthcare career at the intersection of business and technology. He has the distinctive talent to be able to shine with strategy and industry dynamics, while also getting into the nitty-gritty of operational and technical detail. This bimodal thinking makes him an unusually valuable partner in either realm. Doug also has deep experience in healthcare regulation and operations, especially related to the ACA and public health insurance exchanges.
Doug is a rare person in that he is uniquely humble and understates his talents at every turn – so we have to be the ones to brag about him. Doug spends his free time volunteering at the local food bank, and sometimes we call him “the parachute” because he’s always there for his colleagues.
Doug has a BS in Bio-Physics from St. Lawrence University (Canton, NY) and an MBA from Columbia University (NYC, NY). He lives in Oak Park, Illinois.
