Nancy Wise, MBA, MPH

President

Nancy founded Spring Street Exchange to work with mission-aligned leaders to prepare for the future in healthcare. Whether developing an enterprise strategy, working with boards and executives, or leading the creation of an innovation lab, she is both visionary and practical in the same breath. Nancy finds joy in bringing structure to complex problems and is motivated by the incredible outcomes that arise when people with focus, expertise, and goodwill come together to accomplish great things. Her commitment to health equity and a truly consumer-centric healthcare system are at the foundation of all she does, infusing her work with energy that comes from keeping focus on a greater purpose.

Nancy deeply believes that community-based healthcare is essential to the landscape of the future. Her current focus is working with regional healthcare payers and providers to re-envision their business models to be ready for the healthcare landscape of the coming years. Known throughout the industry for her leadership in scenario planning, she has applied this discipline to exploring the impacts of Artificial Intelligence (AI), climate risk, social forces, and industry trends.

Before founding Spring Street, Nancy worked in consulting, at a health plan, and in community-based organizations. She has a MPH and MBA from the University of California at Berkeley, and a BA in American Civilization from Brown University.

Nancy is from both Pittsburgh, PA and Alameda, CA, but now lives in Lexington, MA, where a shot was fired that was heard around the world.
